most of us oldies have been booking into hotels, as the weather can spoil the nights sleep, and you do not enjoy the driving as much if your knackerd, the lakes tour this year was excellent, the roads the tours the people, this event is the best for us old ford fans, sorry to hear yor dissapointment, can not please every one Eh.Old escorts, better than a pension plan.

I thought it was a great weekend. Camped on the Friday & Saturday night, drove over 750 miles in WLB over the weekend.
Lashed down with rain both nights, but didn't mind. The only thing the rain might of done is stopped people mingling around the site.
As it was my first tour i can't compare, but i would defo do it next year
Hotel had a bar, so happy days
Mark.

been having a similar discussion at croft today. The whole scene is quiet at the mo, folks just don't have the money. As for lakes i would agree the camping turnout was the worst i've seen but after having too many wet weekends i got a hotel and won't be looking back, its great to be able to have a hot shower and a comfy bedEx-Chairman of 'The Clique'
