I guess you're right, personally I never deal with Ebay myself. I've sold quite a bit of expensive AV gear over the recent years, but I only ever deal with forum members who have a high post count and good trader rating though it's still no guarentee. Maybe I've been lucky but they've all gone well, but for much lower amounts than a car, probably the dearest was a projector I sold £1,500 for example.

Alot of Interesting points raised lads, there are way too many bad/worrying parts to a high price, rare, irreplacable car sale. As ruddy says in one of his points, where is and has the enjoyment gone/going. I enjoy driving these old cars but dont when it comes to my rs18 for all and more of the issues in this thread.
Thanks
John

agree John, have enjoyed the 5 years or so since being back on the road, did drive it everywhere back then, but as the years go by im getting more reluctant to get out in the car, more loonies on the road dont help the situation, silly valuations make me wonder what we have.Originally posted by rsjohn1 View PostAlot of Interesting points raised lads, there are way too many bad/worrying parts to a high price, rare, irreplacable car sale.
