I don't see why not as they are all Fords from the same era.

Had one for 3 years, if i had the space would of kept it.
Good looking car, a bit quirky ,superb interior, not many made, won its class in saloon car racing.
Old school ? what is old school? a model T? or is that very very old school?
If you've got one just enjoy it for what it is.

I may be a skater, but my car saved me from death in October last year.

It's what you're brought up with, for me it was the Mk2 Escort, but Dad bought James and he's been in the family since 1985.

He will be back on the road soon (after a restoration) and may even be seen out and about at the Lakes Tour in 2012.................

Nearly all panelled and will be painted soon.

Then Chris has to fathom out what bolt goes where and put him back together again!!!

already a classic IMO. Certainly old enough. I think they look just as good as mk1/2 and i couldnt care less if its FWD or RWD.

i`ve not long sold my mk1 rs2000 and was looking for something when a stunning series 1 rs turbo caught my eye.the wife wanted me to buy so she could drive it so i thought what the hell why not.it has the quietest cvh i`ve ever heard, not even a tap.it goes well and is very very practical.the main bonus is though i`ve still got enough cash to buy a mk2 rs2000 or what i really fancy a mk1 gt cortina.i`ll just wait until the right car comes along.right place, right time.

owned a couple of RS1600is, first one as many know now, i swapped for the mk2 back in 1988 approx £6k.
i did like them at the time so we bought another A681 JBW, was a great car, we had that as a every day car for many years.
