why is it everytime i go to cumbria there is always a hubble!, if i wasn't invited do you think i would have taken an opel to a ford show, anyway its all oldskool,cars that we relate to from our young days when we where running about at rallies.

gerard please dont ever stop bringing your awesome cars to the lakes tour.. i travel down to the show every year from up past inverness ( 900 mile round trip ), and the highlight of the weekend for me is seeing stw.. im a ford man through and through but i have to say the ascona is totally stunning and yet again a real credit to you.. was lovely to see something a bit different on the tour...

In my opinion Steve and the other organisers of this fantastic weekend, which we all look forward to have every right to invite guest cars no matter what model they are. Sometimes people should keep their opinions to themselves as this can cause offence, especially when they are being RUDE and ILL MANNERED to members on this forum. As usual this event was well organised and thoroughly enjoyed by all the Irish Lads.

The Lakes tour and classic Car show gets closer ever year you can see why as that's where the interest truly is IMO
Must remember to invite more classics for next year love the sound of the GT40 G would you bring the Model T out for a spin too son I have me flat cap and rug to keep out the cold here ready and waiting
