yep that was us in lhd 1600 sport and the more door there just enough hours in the weekend to cram every thing so I think they should extend it a couple more days that weekend to look @ fords monday/tuesday to look around the other makes

It's great to see all the cars on the road and on display and adding the Ascona, Chevette, G6 and TR7 gave something extra for us all to look at.

Nearly all of us appreciate the time and effort taken to get these cars running and in the condition that they are so why does it matter if it is a Ford or another Motorsport car that we can admire and want to look at?

As said by John it's about meeting up and having a good time with a bit of banter.

We don't need silly comments from individuals who hide behind a keyboard rather than show their face and say what they feel in public to the organisers of this Fantastic Event :winka:

why not come along, introduce yourself to the tour organisers, and put your thoughts across.
lakes tour 2012 will be in the early planning stages already, so if you have any thoughts on how to make it better, feel free to come along.

reading through this thread it seems you are now trying to turn it around, and "having a laugh" was not what many people seem to have thought reading your posts, that are aimed at owners cars and the show,

"more interests" indeed thats why alot of people on here enjoy looking at other makes of cars
