No !! Mine was a arched mk2 1300 sport and I smashed it to bitsdriving like Roger clark bit without the skill !!! Seriously tho if it was still around I would jump at the chance of it back.

My first car was a Mk2 Escort 1300L that I fitted a 1600 engine to and various other bits as a poor man's RS2000 that my parents had at the time. As I ended up buying their RS in the end I guess I've kind of got what would have been my dream first car as the real one is probably recycled into a fridge by now (if they could find any remaining metal worth recycling ).

My first car was a Mk 1 RS2000 and I would love to buy it back but I think it is long gone. Last taxed in 1983.

The one I would have back in amongst the RS's would be my black with electric blue decals 1600 sport. All original family car from Hampshire / Wiltshire border no welding and was a stop gap after my Mex was pinched in the early 90's.

First car

No! My first car was a Ford 8 of 1936 origin .It had a side valve engine,vacuum wipers,running boards,a brake accentuator that operated rods to all four drum brakes.It had no heater,servo,power steering,service book,radial tyres ,.it would only do 50MPH ,and was very slow!! Nought to 30 took 45. Minutes!
