paid a reasonable price for mine as a 'buy it now'on flea bay phoned first seller stated if i didnt want it i could walk away,no prob.as it happens it was better than it looked!.

Bought mine on the photo's what a bullshitter the seller was!- Not the end of the world though as I have welded and restored many cars. This was with photographs- so photo's mean sh*t. You need to go and look. And take a mate a long for a second verdict as he may pick up something you missed.

I think and correct me if I'm wrong Andy...its the 'attitude' of some sellers....

Flipping the coin to the other side..........If I was selling a specialised car I would include photos of the major points that are applicable.

It does not take much to send a few photos of the problem areas of a make and model of a car, and helps sussing out the genuine sellers from the vagabonds. Okay you cant tap a photo for filler or hear a knocking engine/ wining transmission etc.

As frustrating as it is, if the seller can't be bothered to send a few photos then they are not worth bothering about.....

He isn't saying he wont go and look at the car, just he would like to see some more piccies of it before he travels 200 miles to go and have a look at it!!

I did the same when I bought my red one. Asked for piccies of certain areas, certain parts. When I was happy that it looked good and had chatted to him, I then asked Mr Hoarder to go with me and look at it, all the way up to Manchester!! (Mr Hoarder travelled from Essex to meet me at Oxford!!)
Then, only after looking round it did I buy it

There's nothing wrong in asking for some more piccies and as Andy has said, he has asked for them, the guy has agreed to send them, then hasn't!!! THAT'S THE POINT!!
