  • Ideas for everyday car

"May" have to sell my Impreza due to the fact it is costing me £60 a week in fuel to do 180 miles
Thing is though, Every time I get into it, I love it. Stunning car
Sensible head time though I think now
Budget would be 10-11k as I can still get 10k for the Impreza. Have been looking at Audi A4 Avant S-Line TDI's but only higher mileage ones are in my price bracket. I don't want a car that depreciates like a bomb either
I don't do Vauxhalls of any kind or Mondeo's.
Suggestions please. 2 kids and wife to ferry around!
Don't do boring cars of any sort either.

Just go a bit easy with the right foot sir.
Mine does 50% more miles than that on the same amount of fuel.

Have always liked audi's Would like a newer one if poss as residuals would be better. All the one's I seem to be finding for my price bracket seem to have done 100k

Thing is Leon, I do go lightly on it LOL. Dread to think what it would be like if I didn't just tickle it.
I have thought about LPG but there is conflicting opinions on this with the STi. Would certainly half my fuel bill though.
