  • New Toys LOL Worth a Look new piccies

Recieved this in the Post today

and this arrived today aswell, after the Royal Fail totally destroying the packaging, it came in a clear plastic bag with an apology letter Yeh right !!

    cheers Martyn

I also got these, I was not going to put up the pics but I think they look so good I had too, eh Vinny LOL

these are Haybusa Motorbike carbs on a fabricated Pinto manifold, ready to bolt on and theres minimal pipework to do, they need a pressure reg as they only run at 2 psi, they are 37mm chokes that flow better than 45's and rolling road tests so far have added from 20-25+ bhp to a car running 45's and RS_MARTYN said they sound awesome, I will be doing a fitting guide on them pictorial maybe this weekend

Where did you get them and the manifold etc form, and what sort of cost are they, as I have twin 40s at the moment but could always do with more!!!!!

brian, i too would like to know more about this set up, i nearly bought a set of yamaha R1 carbs in the week, but bottled it on account of the nause of getting correct jets, need some base line figures from which to work from, and go from there, how much was the manifold? is it critical how long the inlets are? they look quite long to me??

                          Yum yum.. bike carbs

Bloke who set my dcoe's up took me out in a CVH powered kit car with a set of Honda blackbird carbs on, his lad had just made up the manifold and linkage for it and he'd set it up on the rollers. Bloody awesome it was.. pulled from nothing right into the red, only had a lightly ported head and a cam in it too. I almost comminsioned a kit for the RS.

This is the guy who did the setup on the CVH, they was featured in Retro Cars mag a while ago.
