    I presume most of us on here will have used them at some point.
    But i would like to know what there level of service has been .

    Las Friday i placed an order online for some £170 worth of goodies. It said on the form that all parts were in stock and available for immediate dispatch. I paid for the order using bank transfer as their card service wasn`t working. My internet banking has confirmed that the payment has been recieved. Was also told i would receive an email when the order was dispatched so i could track it. However still no email to say if it been shipped and i have emailed them 3 times so far with still as yet no response from them .

    As i`m 4000 miles away at the moment and not home till the 9th of Nov its a bit concerning

    always found the team to very helpful and prompt in dispatching the goods, never had a problem

      apart from two wrong speedo cables whitch took an age to sort out ,and a thermostat that didn t work ,pleasant enough to deal with.i get anything now from gs escorts.

        Have you phoned Burtons to ensure that the payment has hit their bank yet ?

        Most bank transfers do not show for 5 - 7 working days !

        (note:- your bank removes it from your bank as soon as you authorise payment - but the seller does not see it straight away !)

        So you sent payment Friday 15th

        forget Sat and Sun

        So 5 days after 18 - 22nd Oct

        Payment will in my opinion hit their bank on the 22nd

        So goods should be dispatched Monday 25th Oct

          Burtons are not as good as they used to be 20 years ago,some of the parts lack the quality that you used to expect and get ,you always paid more but got better quality .I think they use some of the cheaper sources for some of their gaskets and consumable items,delivery can be a little lapse as well.Overall though they are ok and I continue to use them.

          RSJON I am surprissed GS Escorts can be bothered to sell you anything based on my dealings with them

            I imagine this would be the reason.
            Maybe just panicking and over reacting a bit
            I`ll give them the benefit of the doubt
            Would prefer not to phone as its £1.80 a minute

                Like you I phoned last Friday enquirerd about parts and got everything together , then the guy on the phone says we don't do cards over the phone ? (2010) and says I have to registar online for an account , told him to forget the order and went else where .

                  Burtons are ace normally , i always phone though as i don't like ordering on internet only sites . Plus who the foooook reads emails anyway , lol . Speaking to humans is the way forward .

                    I ordered over the phone on Tuesday, parts arrived Wednesday morning - took credit card details over the phone.

                      I've always had 100% satisfaction from Burtons

                      I generally get my parts same or next day !

                      Helps knowing and living close to the boss though !

                        burtons have always gave me great service! most times i use them i get through to andy and he looks after me! no probs at all and will contuine to recommend them

                          No problems with Burton's. Had some wrong Misabs sent. New ones arrived next day

                              A placed an order with burton on Monday/Tuesday and received the parts on the Friday
