Never had any major probs with burtons , a couple of parts have been sent that were not right but were sorted promptly , also they have always my taken card details over the phone

All in all a good level of service and I will continue to use them

I originally went down the credit card route and clicked the option but i have a visa electron card and as luck would have it this was the only card that they could`nt accept due to technical issues ???.
Thats why i had to use my bank transfer.
Had i been at home and not out here i would`ve just phoned the order.
I can accept and understand it takes a few working days for payments to clear etc but as i have emailed them 3 times i thought i would at least get 1 courtesy reply just to clarify the situation

Visa Electron is a bit of an oddball - it isn't accepted at all places that take Visa

Basically it has to have funds available before payment is requested and some retailers equipment is unable to carry out this check so it will be refused.

It is issued almost exclusively to children and very basic account holders (e.g. students)

Only HBOS issue these cards now, all other issuers have moved to a fully featured debit or credit card.

Well i`m pleased to announce i had an email from the missus who has told me that there is a big box with burton written on it arrived at the house today !!!
Looking forward to getting home now so i can bolt everything to the car .
