classis ford is getting worse imo, i keep subscribing but wonder why, used to read it cover to cover 5 years ago but just skip through it now. The price guide was a joke and should have been checked before publication as this gives people false info. There are people out there who are gonna be dissapointed when they try to buy a car that they thought would be cheap only to find they need to save up a bit more.Ex-Chairman of 'The Clique'

Well if that's all my Mex is worth then I am going rallying with it ! £3500 ???? the engine and carbs cost more than that alone just 7 months ago, what the hell was I thinking Anyone got a Saxo they could p/x me.
Seriously, what does it matter, who believes these price guides anyway ? Only people who don't have the cars.
Cf does have some interesting articles and some nice pics

You can't blame a mag for featuring modified cars as that's what 99% of owners do with them . Only a few standard cars about for good reason (they are slow and crap to drive) and they are always concours buffty show ponys that never go anywhere . Seen one and you've seen them all .sigpic 2.1 ATMO YB POWER .

I can only reinforce how important it is to get a written agreed valuation on your car BEFORE anything should happen - regardless of how much or how little you think your car is worth.
Insurance Companies will class articles such as the latest to appear in Classic Ford as "market values" and make settlements based on such articles.

At the end of the day, you like it you buy it, you don't like it you don't buy it. Simples.sigpic
