Got good news myself too Kevin, after about 50 phonecalls they finally traced my box of parts in COVENTRY!! (this is parcelforces black hole for lost property) probably the shortest route from Belfast to Dublin

The box is intact and un opened only conclusion we can come to is that the jerk in the warehouse shook the box and mistook the jingling of the plated metal bits as broken glass or something .
Its cost me a fortune in calls but hope to have it back in few days.
