sad I have tried to buy this car since 1988 the car was rallied in its younger days and the car went through a light restoration done by Sidney Meeke in fact the car was still at Meekes when the owner died, and was delivered shortly after the funeral and has not moved since

There is a similar case down here with what I believe was the last RS2000 registered in Southern Ireland. (Black, reg - 500 EIP) I remember the car well, bought by the Owner of the local Ford dealer in Kilkenny. A good friend of mine worked there and did the PDI on it.
It changed hands a few times and I'm told its currently lying in a yard rotting away. A few have approached the owner but he has ran them from the house.

geez the last time i saw that escort i went up and asked bout it also but was told it wasnt for sale i reckon it must ave been 1993 and it was in fairly solid condition then shocking to see it go to waste like it is
