  • Anglesey GP Circuit

Myself Cossie Si and Mike The Panel enjoyed a trackday today at Anglesey.

    What a great circuit !

My driving style got mentioned a number of times and owners of bigger more powerfull cars couldnt believe I was only running a pinto on carbs particularly the owners of a Ferrari 350 Modena and a GT2 Porsche.

Plenty of friendly banter amongst all on track and the Ferrari 350 owner had no problem that I was sideways in his mirror most of the time but I did finally manage to overtake him at 8200 rpm in 5th then into a 90 left

Even had an Duratec engine builder who supplies owners of Westfield/kit cars come over and take a peak under the bonnet

My car was faultless all day

Cossie Si has munched his 5 speed gearbox

Mike The Panel rustproofed his shell (am sure he will put up a pic - lol)

We camped on circuit last night but instead of a BBQ we dined out

Off to Sullivans for a spot of dinner - http://www.sullivansofrhosneigr.co.uk/

    Very civilised indeed - lol

Local Mussels to start followed by Sirloin steak, tiger prawns and chips then a chocolate fudge pudd with cream and ice cream.

Eating in - the new eating out - lol

Shudda told the Welsh Mafia, we would have come and watched

We made it to the Great Orme and had a good time, and as we looked towards Anglesey, thought we could see you
