  • Confessions of a road trip!!!!

A week last friday I embarked on a road trip to deepest darkest kent with my two sidekicks Frosty and Johnny P. We left Grantham at 6am and following a short arguement between the 2 girls about who was going to sit in the front I tossed frosty the keys to my company car and sat in the back

Anyway 2 and 3/4 hours later and somehow without managing to stop for breakfast due to the Frost being to blind to see the services we arrived at the house of a very nice man with a very nice car for sale

Upon lifting the garage door I had decided I had to buy this car, it is a real beaut. Following a good fettle and conflab with the 2 ladies I struck a deal and swiftly set off to get some funds.

Driving back was awesome, the smile was as wide as my face all the way home.
Kept it quiet until today and took her to AVO although word had got out to the chosen few. Anyway here is the obligitory handover picture, Ruddy I hope you approve.

Some of you will know the car.

Big thanks to Aaron for letting me have her, I promise she will be cherished. The Mex has had to be stored elsewhere as I only have the one garage, however she is a keeper!!!

I have to say, whilst I was very sad to see LAR go, I was very happy that you bought her mate. I'm absolutely certain you will pampur and polish her as she deserves.......

As some of you may recall, I had a certain itch to scratch and I have now done so......
