Very sad to hear this dave, but as the lads has said you are and allways will b mr1800 to us all,
I hope this is a wake up call to the RSOC cause I don't think there is anyone on the mainland or ireland or anywhere else that has the knowledge of 1800 that you have.
Raymond sends has regards and also very dissapointed to hear the news.

What can the RSOC do to stop somone who after 20years decides its time to step down

Sorry but there is one or 2 comments on here digging at the RSOC as tho its there faullt

I dont see anyone thanking the RSOC for having Dave as the reg for the last 20 years

Times change and people move on but untill dave says its the RSOC fault that he has resigned then i feel its unfair to blame the RSOC

But as said before , this is the RSOC haters website , same shit every time you get chance to have a go at the RSOC

The RSOC are not to blame for me stepping down,
I thank the club for having me as a registrar over the years, i had a great time, the club is moving forward but my imput that is required for the mag has dwindled.
A couple of other issues are there but as said i dont want to go into this, but again im not blaming the RSOC

I would also like to point out that in no way it has anything to do with the running of cumbria RSOC show, and i didnt carry out any judging that day

PS... the club did award me with life membership a couple of years ago, a great honor

Thanks for clearing that up Dave as its a shame the RSOC always seem to get the blame

You will be very much missed by the RSOC and it will be a very very hard job to replace you , but im sure you will always still help if required

You were very kind to me when i first became a reg and i will never forget that

if i hated the rsoc i wouldnt have been a member for the last 15 years or so paul, simple fact is weve lost, ruddy then dave custom, now dave robbo...whos going to step up and fill those boots???
im sure you know your own mark extremely well, but the fact is these guys are a fountain of knowledge for the old school stuff and new members and some older ones could relay on for help when it was required....
i simply asked if the club could make there roles easier in order for us to keep them as our registrars...
i would suggest that you think were all rsoc haters before you have read the comments and your already looking to go on the defence.... i hope thats not the case

Who said this was aimed at you ? sort of put yourself in that group of people there havent you ?

as for the club finding another registrar , Ruddy and dave ( custom ) arnt the only people who know about mk2"s you know , the club survived before them and im sure it will carry on without them , same as the 500 boys would manage without me

there are many people out there with plenty of knowlage so dont panic
