Locktight ain't good enough !!!!!
I've swopped all the 3x alternator bolts with extra long bolts and nyloc nuts , then drilled holes through them and fitted "R" clips . Plus a nylon fan belt tension arm to stop the casings breaking . Works a treat and will save you 6x alternators !!!!!
For the starter motor i've got masssive long bolts going right through the bell housing with nyloc nuts on the other side . This stopped about 3x starters a year falling out and exploding on the x-member !!!!!

Hopefully going out again today. Was supposed to have gone to a classic show at Weston Park to be an honourary Capri for the day but there was moisture in the air this morning so politely declined
Economy is looking a little worrying though. Munched £10 of Super to do 35 miles yesterday

Replaced them twice already LOL Also checked the seal on the tank to see if it was evaporating LOL

Done another 50 miles this afternoon. All is still good. The Nipple came round so we went for a drive over to Sherwood Forest, took some pics then just took a drive over to his mums but I didn't get invited in for tea........
