On our dyno the best ive seen is 234 out of a 2.6 pinto, massive torque,
Had some good 2ltr pinto's but only ever see 180 ish,
That's sounds about right then as 234bhp divided by 2.6 litres is 90bhp per litre . Then 180bhp divided by 2 litres is also 90bhp a litre . So as we can see it's hard to get more than 90bhp a litre from an 8v N/A engine on pump fuel on a decent machine . This will i'm sure be backed up by the results on the day .
Nothing we can do about ambient temperature increases unfortunately unless the dyno is in a chilled room (we hope) .
sigpic 2.1 ATMO YB POWER .
Tick tock goes the clock and the clock don't lie .
12.4sec to 109mph With NO turbo , NO gay trailer , NO slicks , NO gas , NO race fuel and NO bits missing . Beat that !!!!
A good example of a peaky engine would be that horrible rotary engine from the rx8, gotta be driven high up in the rev range to get anything out of it!
Yes that's exactly right , bit like a Honda V-tec as well . All peak numbers and no real bollox !!!!!

Why does everyone think mine is going to blow up pmsl.
Put it this way, best not do.
I think mine will achieve a healthy 61bhp like it did about 5 years ago on the rollers my target will be to overtake a matiz on full chat.
