Some er, intersting ideas there guys lol
thought of some more tho, move the starter solenoid inside the cabin, right up near the scuttle, too hard to get access to short out, would mean that the car basically cant be started unless you come well prepared, still need to figure out a way to immobilise the coil though

Amongst other things I use a Disclok...bought mine in the early nineties & at the time car crime was big news on the tv.
There were loads of tests done by ex car thieves etc & most mechanical anti theft devices look less than a minute to remove. The disclok foiled most of the attempts to get it off.
Of course anyone armed with an angle grinder wouldn't have too much trouble

Of course non of the above are much use, when they can just 'lift' or 'drag' your car onto a flatback.
Or the thief dressed as an RAC man in an orange flatback in the car park of big shows, no one batters an eyelid, even with alarm going off. Iv experienced it first hand.Part of the Java Green club
