good luck with this, he may be genuine but should have told you before travelling that the history had been misplaced.

          sorry.

I know its not going to be resolved on here, i was merely letting people know what happened and why its back up for sale.

i never said it was, but thanks for the comment????

i think you'll find i have given him the benefit of the doubt as i've left half the deposit with him for this week until he can find the history , but cant understand how it can be posted up for sale when he still has a deposit on the car?

i'm sure Darren will get it sorted and common sense will see things sorted soon.

I went and viewed this car with Paul and obviously the car was what he was looking for as a deposit was left, the guy seemed very genuine, and the car looked really good so i think its fair to say that the problem isnt with the car, just that the angle on the deal was changed as it was made very clear how important the history was as Paul is boringly precise on this and knows how this can affect a cars value and everything had to be perfect before the deal was done, therfore a weeks notice was given to find all the documents.

as said i'm sure its a genuine mistake and Darren will get it sorted soon and find the history as there has to be more than 2 mot's in 35 years??just a bit of communication would have saved a lot of time and hassle.

Oh and the 'shouldnt be sorted on here' posts, i'd like to think that most people on the site can understand the issue, and its not a thread dedicated to slagging off someone's car or character its a simple thread letting you know why that Mexico isnt sitting in Paul's garage.
