Hi Aled,
sorry to hear this and reading the thread, I can only reiterate what everyone else has said.

I've lost 2 family members to this and it takes a lot out of all involved but they are getting better results as time goes by, and someday they may get a cure.

Both yourself and Debbie are in our thoughts and prayers.

Take care and lets hope that Debbie is in the top 16%.
