Just fixed my renault 5 gordini turbo after 6 years and wondered if you lot think it's low enough !!!!!! I scrapped up half the grass and mud from the alley getting onto the street so i reckon it is , lol .

Hi Andy , the Mini's got a 1300 turbo engine with enlarged 27cc chambers to lower the comp ratio , bigger valves , roller rockers , group "A" head gasket , forged Omega pistons , T3 turbo , metro turbo S.U. carb , RC40 exhaust etc etc . Makes an easy 140bhp on low boost but should be about 165bhp with an intercooler/charge cooler/water injection etc . Don't sound much power but it's bordering on the dangerous when the turbo spins up in that little car , lol !!!!

Yes they fly with an XE in them . My mate Nathan had a race XE on injection etc in a lightweight stripped out Mini and fooooook me was it dangerous . It would run 13.5secs weaving all over both lanes of the drag strip , lol .
My mini is stuck in the back garden rusting away at present . It's been their for 6 years so i shall be fixing it up and selling it soon before it disappears into the bushes forever !!!!!

Lovin the stance, low as ya can get it, remember bobbin bout in these when i had just past me test, bout 86/7 ish.,
mini`s became a fing of the past, essy`s, alfa suds n renault 5 turb`s, manta`s an cavalier sri had just sort of become popular wiv da young lads everywhere, jus that one oic took me back

The mini looks like a shite heap at the moment , lol . It's got green fugus growing all over it so the £2000 scrapage allowance would be ace . Mind you new cars are shite so i don't what any except the £60,000+ plus ones with £5000 cam belts !!!!!
