    Here's another pic of the Gordini Turbo . The fronts a bit high here as i'd just got it off axle stands for the 1st time in 6 years so it took a few minutes to settle down again .
    Going for it's MOT soon so i can't wait to see the MOT mans face when he trys to slide his ramp jack under it to check the steering , lol . He's got no fooookin hope !!!!

      Bruntingthorpe in 2003 . A few hours before i put several rods through the block on the way home (hence the 6 year lay off)

          The Porsche is locked away as i don't get time to use it much . I prefer driving the Escort if the truth be known as it's faster and sounds better . Plus Joe public also thinks i'm a yuppie when i'm in the Porsche (but a chav in the Escort) !!!!!! .

            Just for 4parajohn . I had a new front boot floor and petrol tank support etc welded into it last year as the whole front was falling off !!!!!! lol . Easier to restore than Escorts though as you can still buy all the bits . Is it low enough though !!!!!

              Piece of cake to work on . No water problems as it's air cooled (so no blown head gaskets , no leaking rads , no head corrosion etc to fix) and best of all free tax + Zero depreciation (just like Escorts) . I can get it sideways in 1st gear but apart from that it's rock solid and just grips . It's got a 1980's 3.0 litre motor in it but i was thinking of swopping a big 340+bhp 3.8 litre 1990's engine into it but can't be arsed at present as i don't drive it enough . I might flog it instead but will see how i feel next year as it's going up in value and only costs me £10 a week to keep it !!!!!!

                  Yes and mine , i bought it with the spare money we had left over when i moved house . Wifey went ape shite as the money was for D.I.Y / renovations . I said "what do you want ? A 1971 Porsche 911 to come out in or a new kitchen made of chipboard ?" She said a kitchen but 5 years later i've still got a Porsche and shes got the same old 1980's chipboard cupboards screwed onto the wall !!!!!!! Lifes a bitch , lol

                      Nice one gaz, Porker is a true beauty. Had a blast up the dual carriageway with a white one (rs) a few weeks ago and he JUST edged away from me.
                      Not bad for a little 1600 zetec escort...(2.0 being prepped as we speak)

                          It's also modified with later GT turbo pistons and liners , hybrid T3 turbo , alloy intercooler , GT turbo group "A" carb etc and makes 190ish BHP on 15 psi of boost . It only weighs 700 kilos (french biscuit tin steel etc) and goes like a rocket despite it's tiny 1.4 litre pushrod x-flow engine .
                          Must give the Escort a run for it`s money at that Gaz, "comfy R5"
