  • What a lousy day

    Had a lousy day today

Took the MK2 on the rolling road this morning to set up the new DGAS. Then went to my parents for a birthday fried egg buttie and then went to Dales.

Text from my Ma to say big pool of oil on her drive

Looked under car......big pool of oil now on Dales drive

Put it on the ramp, gearbox casing cracked, oil pouring out Also part of U/J of prop shaft sheared

    I now need:

    1. Propshaft (just like the one I recently sold

    2. Standard 4 speed gearbox or casing of a u/s one.

    3. Some counselling.

You'll get it sorted alright, getting a good response on here for parts.

Keep in touch with your final decision and I'll see what extra info I can find out you for you too.

Happy Birthday again Aled, and I hope you had a better time tonight.

                        Tim.
