  • Any Turbo Diesel Mechanics ?

my Mundaino TDCI started blowing alot of smoke out when under hardish acceleration

is this the turbo going tits up ? as the engine runs fine and drives normaly the rest of the time at sensible revs, but it does not seem to do it if you just press the go pedal when sat on the drive

ideas please as I know **** all much about Turbo Diesels
    cheers

as tim says they split intercooler pipes.also bad for injectors

right need to check the pipe first, but as I say it runs fine at 2000 revs or less

Very common for sticking EGR valves or possible intercooler pipe connection

My Golf blew a Boost hose and ran like shite with lots of black smoke. Also Like said, EGR valves aren't the best. Take the little pipe that fits to the top of it off, Block it off and try again. This bypasses the EGR and will make the car run better Also try and run a good quality injector cleaner such as "Cataclean"
