I wouldnt put cheap crap in it but I think the manufacturers do go a bit ott with all this £20 a litre stuff, its not as if its a ferrari or gets driven hard.

Thing is with the engines these days is if you use the wrong stuff it won't have the right additives in it and either the motor will just expire or you start getting problems with injectors and the like. It's a right bloody pain, but that's what it's like, unfortunately.
