A few of the boys were talking down here last night about the state of Escort world downunder and the lack of cars due to the shipping out of cars to the UK.
The question is would a repro shell like they make for the 60's
Mustang for the Mk1 and Mk2 be a winner.
I know that there is an argument about reshelling cars in the Uk, BUT considering the amount of work that some cars have to have done to be "restored" a new shell is not far from what is being done currently.
How many of you have had to replace significant amounts of the shell due to rot.
The rally guys out there may have a view on this.
the next question is How much is it worth and under what circumstances should a reshelled car be consider "genuine"
your thoughts?
