Simple Question really just wondered how many members have registered their cars with the club's registrars.

• If you have not why?
• What would make you change your mind?
• Would you supply copies of your cars history and associated paperwork?
• Has your car been registered since you joined the club?

In my case my car wont be registered as I choose not to as I do not want to supply my cars details; also at the moment the registrars position for my vehicle is vacant with no visibility of who is covering the position until such time as it is filled the previous registrar was in a revolving door he was in he was out then he was in and now he is out. Now the role for some reason after 25 years has been split into two seperate classes for some reason with no explanation.
At the moment there is nothing encouraging me to register the car with the club and I feel that there is nothing to be gained at the moment.

Sounds terrible really but tbh thats the way it is for me at the moment and it seems the old skool cars have to use a completely different site from this one it also seems the club is beginning the fragment into smaller seperate clubs and this seems to be the way things are going.

C'mon Simon your keyboard keys are being pressed without checking out the facts !

All MKII RS Escorts were handled by a single registrar up until cicra 1990 when the MKII Escort RS1800 registrar position was created.

The seperation of RS Mexico and RS2000 is simply a natural progression of the way Old Skool is currently being perceived and welcomed by The RSOC.

But your car is registered with the RSOC ? or how else did you get the RSOC registered sticker ?

a/ I take it you do not require a club valuation from your registrar

b/ I take it you will no longer be ringing me for advise on your fuel supply, ignition and diff assembly issues with your car ?

There is/was a club run by a Regional Group Chairman and current Lifetime RSOC member but I am not a member of such a club.

Dave you are mistaken that is not a registered sticker but a new style membership sticker. So perhaps you may want to re-evaluate your statement about this sticker if proof is required then I will photgraph it and post it on here.
This car was previously on the register circa 1980's but has not been done by me and none of my details about this car have ever been sent to the registrar or even yourself as the new registrar.
As for ringing you I have never had any issue with you and up until today was never made aware of you being the new registrar as this fact has not exactly been publicised on here now has it no posts in the old skool section of the RSOC site. Your advice has always been valued and appreciated and got me out of some very sticky situations.

Yes I do take part in your forum only reason being it was the only place to get the advice and support I needed as I could not get it on here as none of the old skool take an active part in this forum anymore so really this was the place I had to go to get the advice I needed and the site is a very good one.
