I just finished building my house this year - I couldn't watch when the roofer was up putting the tiles on - 10m off the ground with absolutely no protective equipment. We then put gutters up, the workers arrived with a 10m ladder and walked along the edge of the roof overhang to fit the gutters

people take risks, but when they end up hurt, they blame others, i work for a large uk house builder, and yes i have seen some stupid workers take big risks, and we end up in court, and loss of employment, due to there actions
