having only 5 days to build two dormer window with pitched tiled roof,s and finish the job completley with all internal work complete and decorated i finished today with a day to spare after 9pm finishes all week, now bear in mind this job is in a £2.5m house that is owned by one of the biggest developers in the south with the potential of repete buisness very good, as we are putting the last few tools on the van one of my lads decides to trip on a dust sheet and fly down the grand staircase stuffing the very heavy toolbox into the newly wallpaped wall and smashing a ****in great hole in the wall too!
cant belive it, i have been so carefull all week, got decorator coming tmoz, i recon £6-£800 to put it right, thank god i found some wallpaper in the house!

no - he's on the phone to the "accidents at work" hotline seeing if he can claim against bad H&S

We are (were) Bison's biggest sub contractors and since laing o'rourke took over we have been a lot better off for work , not saying its going to last though

this reminds me of the time i had to paper and paint 2 rooms in a £ 6m house while the clients were away, all looked ok until half one walls plaster decided to fall off,no time to find a plasterer so done it myself, first time since college.got the lot finished, cleaned up the place, then i noticed i had put up one roll of paper upside down :knob: not easy trying to put one drop of paper back in the middle, but did it just before they got back.
what i need is a high horse like the others have !
