yeah i am right with you on that m8 but i ordered some £20 carbon door handles and they took 10 weeks to show up with every excuse used to even the i open up the packet and they was only 1 in so i will post you the other set here so bull s h i t comes to mind i know jeremy personally and i wont deal again i dont like the p i s s being taken and bull over the phone cos i am miles away so stock levels and all that jazz dont matter m8 he has done this to plenty from what i here and as such should be up front with peeps not excuse after excuse sorry to rant but people should have to get all peed off when buying bits with their well earned cash

News on the missing parts , he has told me that they were despatched on thurs last week by Business Post carrier but he hasnt the tracking numbers which I think means they were probably collected Fri so should get them any day this month suppose just have to wait it out and give him the benefit of doubt , cheeRS Wullie

When i built my car i waited 3 months for the new off the shelf gearbox , 6 weeks for the off the shelf brakes , 2 months for throttle body parts then webers wanted 4-6 weeks to test the ECU !!!!!!! . All slow as foook and useless really so allow at least 3 months too modify anything major !!!!!!!!

I understand all the points raised above and there is no excuse from the mentioned supplier as he should be on the level with all you chaps as its small supplier bread and butter. I can shed some light on the delivery times of a lot of products as the manufacturers are bug**s for minimum order and crappy service. However this does not excuse the 'no problem mate' attitude of a lot of suppliers and pre payment and wait type of trading.
I prefer to take a deposit and final payment day of delivery and be straight with clients although am very small & specialised. Smaller suppliers can't stock everything but at least they can be upfront about things then its your choice. I know of another better known supplier who will tell you as it is and let you hang untill you decide but a lot of people find this sales method very abrupt also.
There will always be a balance between price and service and I find that the cheaper suppliers are ok untill you have a issue; then the after sales service tends to waiver!

Good news , received my parts today 5pm they were despatched a week ago so the carrier was the main fault in the equation , a week to come from south wales i think meant the truck or van was stuck in reverse , parts are good quality so now i am very happy cheeRS Wullie

Exactly the questions i asked when trying to track the parcel down , never had any problems with parcel force, dhl, the parcel was sent pigeon post i mean business post but delivered by a subbie in an unmarked van maybe thats where the problem lay , Wullie
