I thought all RS1800's were built from Mexico's or 1600 sports, does this make them ringers too ?? i am confused
Currently doing an RS2000 Custom which is so rotten that the only panel that will remain untouched is the dashboard, still a genuine RS though ! I find that the 'lesser model' shells i.e. 1100 & 1300's tend to be in far better condition overall than RS shells, without the stress cracks on the pillars and the flexing fatigue in the bulkhead. I think if its a show car you want then take your time and find the best ORIGINAL example you can find. If you want to drive the car and modify it then a 'lesser model' is a better starting platform.
At the end of the day they are all Escorts to me regardless of the paper
