My opinion
An RS should be on the shell it left the factory with, if it was damaged early in life/or later and was reshelled with a brand new service shell from Ford fair enough, that is a correct reshell.
If you have a rusty or pranged RS and you repair it into a previously road registered pop/L or even RS shell then that is a ringer.
If you have a rusty car and you repair/replace full panels to the factory seams/joins with genuine panels then that is a restoration and still a true RS.
Too many ringers about that people prefer to call reshells, too many logbooks and not enough new shells.
I will now duck for cover
