    i ride a yamaha rd250lc for the same reasons, i have had, and can have again fastbikes, but i chose to ride something you dont see every day, and i have as much fun with 35hp as 135 hp

      PS the axle was an example, nothing more, blown all out everything i was on about.

        But not a very good one these days, the last one I was after went for quite a bit over 20K (to Ireland...of course - they all seem to end up there, just like LVX has!)

        The one I enquired after was in Holland for 24k euro, standard trim on steals etc.....

            just my opinion,totally standard low mileage original examples are my thing,but hey lads still a mk2,and each to their own.

                I think the point I was specifically trying to make, when I made that comment was that if I had £29k (say) and it was a choice between FMC 555V and a standard(ish), very low mileage RS2000 (RUD 1T??) or an RS 1800 road car; then it would definately be one of the latter two for me.

                I respect the tarmac/track scene very much, but it doesn't really interest me to a high degree as I'm not into serious modifications etc - though I do enjoy the post-historic rally scene very much and seeing the cars built to their original rally spec!!
