    Choosing what class to enter.....

    This shows how the classes may be organised next year, depending on demand & feedback at the AGM.....

    I would think most ( Spence / RS1800 not included ) would follow the green path, and enter novice pre 81.

    Examples of some competing cars/owners from this year for comparison....

    Intermediate = Hally, Gerrards Mex

    Modified = Deepest's RS1800 rep.

    Standard = Robbo's RS1800

    Expert = Gerrard's RS1800 / Xpack, Ricky Ross' RS2000,

    For more details, keep an eye out in rallye news

                Agreed, however I think there should be a time stipulation on past Gold Cup winners, I haven't shown since winning Gold Cup in 2001 (I think) .

                Then again, I aint got a car .................................................. ..yet

                    Surely its the car that has the time limit not the owner ??????

                    Once a car wins novice it should not be allowed to show in Novice again for 5 years

                    It must move up a class

                    2 years is not enough !

                    2 Gold cups in 5 years for intermediate class should then require it to move up again

                        I have done concours and NEVER won before

                        Therefore I am still Novice !

                        It has taken me 8 years to get the car to this standard and who's to say it will win anything yet ?

                              Just looking in rallye news (didn't have a copy at hand when I did the flowchart)

                              Currently.....

                              Novice is only open to cars that havent won any gold cup before,

                              Also also, if you have held a log book for the past 2 years you can't enter.

                                So you do Novice for 2 years in a row and then thats it - you got to move up ?

                                Unless you take 2 years off !

                                Thats not very enticing to get people to try Concours is it ?

                                You do year 1 and begin to learn

                                You do year 2 to find your feet

                                Year 3 you HAVE to move up whether you win Gold Cup or not ?

                                Methinks that may need a tweak
