  • twist 'n' go scooters

winter is approaching and my missus works shift's, so i want her to have the car, i however am getting fed up already cycling to work in the cold/dark mornings so thought about a twist and go scooter, i have been having a sly look about and am amazed that you can buy brand new import 125cc scooters for a little over £500, which makes more sense than buying something a spotty teenager has abused. has anyone tried one of these or run a scooter period? we both have full bike licenses and insurance is gonna be around £80 comprehensive and tax only £15 a year, beats pedal power i reckon

any constructive comments about scooter ownership?

Read a few reports on the Chinese stuff being poor, buy two, use one for spares to keep the other on the road

You can have this for the right price, just use one gear then twist and go .....

Lee, i bought this import in April for £400 on an 06 plate, been ok but no local dealer will work on them but you can parts from the importers and buy an manual off ebay
