ach , not all , some are desperate , but I'm lucky that I prefer a bit of ground clearance and a sump guard to a set of 19in chrome spinners! lol

Another one to add to the list would be the A702 from the M74 junction 13 to Edinburgh southern by pass, through Biggar. Drove it both ways this weekend and much prefer heading north. Very few built up areas and if you get the time of day right, hardly any traffic (saw less than a dozen vehicles early on Saturday morning).
