    Loosing dog

Sorry to hear about this m8 . I had to take our black patterdale terrier to get put down a few months back. That was the third dog I've taken to get put down. Once there old and unwell its never easy but I couldn't let any animal suffer.

We got another pup a few week later. Never a replacement but if you love your pets its good to give a home to another animal.

    Joe.

        Feel for you mate,
had our Springer put to sleep a few years ago ,cried like a baby just before I took her.
As others have said you'll get another we have a white Westie and wouldn't be without him ,just took him for his hols whilst we are away so the house sitters don't have to worry about being here all the time and kids missing him already.

Me and the missus both said the same thing last night , humans have to suffer and go through hell with thier illnesses , where as you can put a pet down and end thier suffering

Thanks to all who have taken time to comment on this thread and as some have said it is getting easier as the hours go by , its just the small things that you seem to notice and miss.

                cheers

never say never again,as said before rescue dogs are superb.had my german shep for over 13yrs ,should have taken him sooner as his back legs had gone, but making that decision was real tough, really feel for you,but soon after was offered a springer spaniel from the local hunt who needed rehoming due to cruelty,3 years later couldnt imagine not having her ,superb dog. all the best .
we,re here for a good time-not for a long time!

I had a Seal Point Siamese Cat which I had to have put to sleep a couple of years ago now. Totally agree, Gutwrenching experience. Sympathy's Gaz.
