gents, could you help fill this in for a buyers guide. Need the letter/number combination from your VIN plates for both colour and trim. PM me if you wish and I will update as I couldn't get it on here as a xcel doc' . Need to know what year your car is as well, obviously not all colours were available in all years, I have put a couple in as example with info found on this BB, happy to be corrected on anything as this needs to be right.

Many thanks to those who have responded, spent a while reading all Taffs pm's , filled in a few blanks with info from Leon which I know I have somewhere because Gary (FoMoCo) kindly sent it to me a while ago. I would however like to get as many readings off actual VIN plates as there are differences, for instance the paint code info sheet simply states R for Venetian red but my car has R6 , or is this only from certain years etc, so you can see why I need actual VIN readings. I will have my clipboard in hand at Kames and Croft ...
