I had a scare also this evening. Decided to tighten up the sump bolts as per Brett advice
Came to the bolts between the sump and the bellhousing and my socket allen key wouldn't fit. Engineer Frost decided to make a tool for the job. Was super chuffed as it worked a treat with the first allen bolt Tightened the second bolt and all was good. Came to remove the tool from the allen bolt and it dropped out of the socket into the bellhousing 
Loads of finger wiggling and swearing and i still couldn't find it. Took starter off and wiggled some more, nowhere to be found. Got my wiggly magnet out and managed to get it stuck in the flywheel Was not chuffed at this point. Retired into the house for a beer and to kick the cat. ding,ding, round 2. After half an hour of more swearing and wiggling they both finally dropped out Was more than ready to say **** it, cars not going, but hey Everything works out well in the end for the Re Shed.
