Set about SKC today to change to my new Tran-X 5 speed gearbox
Put hand on rear wheel and was able to turn easily whilst holding the other wheel ?????
As it is fitted with a Tran-X LSD plate diff I should not be able to do this so easy !
Decided to strip the rear axle
Found the diff gear bolts had undone allowing the LSD to "seperate" slightly relaesing the pressure off the diff plates - hence not "locking" the wheels.
Does anyone know if I can buy pre-drilled bolts so I can lock-wire them in place or do I have to buy a bolt holder and drill em myself ?
Also found this on the n/s/r driveshaft - a touch twisted
