  • Logbook cordinator is no more

Had a phone call from the EX- LOG BOOK CORDINATOR who has informed me that a vote of no confidence was taken on a committee conference call tonight without his involvement or invite to remove him from his position with immeadiate effect he was not told who moved the motion who seconded and had no right to defend his position all he got was a phone call from the chairman whilst he was on the conference call telling him he had been removed.

Oh well can the last one to leave turn the light off please this is really depressing and now really show what a chaotic club this has become so if you were thinking about a position on the top table then think twice as you to can have a knife stuffed in your back the same as wayne and have the knowledge that there is a knife there waiting for you.... So who's next eh?

Not sure why not really bothered anymore as the club is imploding rapidly

now that is funny and getting to the stage that I agree with it which is more worrying tbh.

further to my previous posts it seems that there is confusion in the ranks as well as some people are saying he resigned so who knows apart from he is no more in the position.

Boy am I glad I am out of it and dont want anything more to do with it as there is just to many people with agendas at that level I know I have first hand experience it is great just to be a so called member but I will probably not renew my membership when it expires as it seems to go from one scandal to another IMO

IMO I Would rather go to a few more oldskool shows like the lakes than go to national day
the lakes was driven by oldskool enthuisists and it showed a mile
it was laid out well and everyone i spoke to seemed genuine guys/lassies
with a passion for all oldskool cars i stopped going to the rs meets in bathgate many moons ago for a similar reason

if you did not have a 2 dr cossie rs turbo or whatever they just ignored you so i just done my own thing

i go to all the SOSE meets in falkirk all the guys are genuine and always willing to help someone out no joining fees no bitchin just fun

and we collectively make the decisions and always strive forward

if you can make it to kames this year you will see what i mean bud

I'm sorry Simon but you don't post on here for ages but as soon as you "Find out" something that may harm the RSOC you put the boot in straight away?????? Maybe letting your membership lapse might be a good thing.
MK2 land is not a happy place regarding the RSOC at the time being and people (Myself included) are trying damn hard to appease the situation as the MK2's are VERY important to the RSOC whatever you or anyone else may say, For me, your comments and obvious attempts at upsetting this delicate situation are not welcome on here

Resigned or sacked, I am pleased , if he was sacked good on the top table for having the balls to sort things out, it couldn't go on, no trophies at shows, no log books or money for nowt.

My departure as reggie was down to a disagreement and arguement raised by Tutin .

All we need now is to sort out these stupid ****ing concours classes, make it simple and enjoyable.

Why can't the cars be classed in simple category's that an 11 yr old would understand ie.

                      MK1 & MK2 Class
                      MK3, MK4, Mk5 & MK6 Class
                      Cosworth & Focus Class
Special Class (RS200, Race Cars etc.)

And do a standard, modified and trailer section in each with places for 1st and 2nd only

Not saying it has to be exactly like this, but I'm sure this would put cars of a similar age competing against each other. Also as some have said, let the local organising group do the judging to make sure that the same judges do not control all the events

Tell me to shut up if it all sounds a load of S***
                      Cheers
