had the same problem with my first rs2 kept blowing between 2&3
cyl took the head off and there was very minimal distortion couldn't
understand why so i put a heavy duty head gasket on and problem
solved didnt blow again -not sure but i think it was a ford transit
gasket slightly thicker but it did the job -hope u sort it mate be good
to see u on the tour

Is the gasket always blowing in exactly the same place, if so, that's a sure sign of a crack in the head or block.

Thats bad luck Lee,get the head stripped off and check it and the block face, make sure there ok,if so fit a heavy duty head gasket,Felpro or standard Cossie yb head gasket, you can get them quite cheap now from the likes of Woodford garage,i wouldnt have used a standard Ford gasket on a uprated engine.
Take it from me,its not the same going on tour in your every day car.
