Yes, I've only seen the film ("Death on the Mountain"?) once, when it was on mainstream TV a few years ago. Would like to see it again. We have so much to learn from the continent and their attitude to cycling that could read across to better PR for motorsport here.
The ultimate "run/tour" (as in the Lakes Tour) would be to cover all the classic Alpine Cols, once so familiar to rallying but now only used fully-competitively by major cycle races?
Have been through two or three Lance Armstrong books. All readable. Some time-expired and now rather unfortunate bits, such as going on about how his wife and family were everything to him. Presumably that was before he went to a Sheryl Crow concert...

Have had reason to recently re-read a number of books that cover Ford matters. In my opinion, Graham Robson's best books are not things like "The Works Escorts" but "Ford in Touring Car Racing" and "Boreham". Both still a bit unbalanced and fawning towards the subject though. For the alternative view, Vic Elford's "Reflections on a Golden Era in Motorsport" has an all too brief section that indicates just how badly organised and run Ford's rally effort was "before Turner".
