A big part of me wants to take it out as most of you are sayin but there's just a part of me saying NO DONT DO IT , bloody things been taxted from the begining of march and ive only done about 40 miles,
so why are you not taking yours out in the wet then Paul ??
use mine all year round and as said much more fun in the wet
i brought mine to enjoy and thats what i do
only time i don't like using it is when roads are salted but as long as you give it a good hose / wash down when you get in it's not a problem, SO GO OUT AND ENJOY IT MATE
if its raining i dont get mine out,but if its out and starts raining then thats it it stays out, but the body work has stayed good for nearly 19 years , just a small patch up here and there.
Well ive had a good think about this one and have come to a decision, its gonna get some hammer rain or shine, life IS far too short to fanny about so that it cheers guys for the help,
Drove mine down to London and back on Easter weekend, through snow, hale stones, gales and torrential rain . Not happy about it at the time, got home and the car was ditched!......... 2 hours later, after i'd washed and dryed it all down, she was gleaming again and you'd never have known it had been out.
Ok, if your doing concours and jacking it up in the air with a load of mirrors underneath, I can understand you not wanting to get it dirty underneath........ but for christ sake lads, it's a bit of metal!!.................... It get's dirty you wash it!..... It gets wet, you dry it!.......... It gets rusty........ you pent it!!!
Plus there a dam sight more fun on a wet round-a-bout than on a dry one!
