        Remanufacture

I got 2 handbrake lever rubbers from Rimmer, were good fit around the brake backing plate, cost £2.25+vat part number 17H8057. Would be interested in the mudflaps alrite, will enquire off a friend who is getting Mk2 grilles remanufacture in China about costs etc, I think the intital cost of the moulds was 10,000 Euro.

17H8057 is the Stag part number , looks like we may have a result , might not be right for the concours lads but for us mere mortals they have got to be better than knackered originals.

Anybody fancy a set of mudflaps with 'Triumph' on them ....

                cheers, Paul

Have the Triumph ones in my tool box. Look good to me. Also have a good pair of original ones saved for the Mex when needed. Bought a set of Mudflaps from Nelly last year.

Well done Paul, these are good items to get re-done if poss

                                Stag part as it comes

However turn it inside out and it looks more like the Escort part

Fitted to the back plate as per it came

Fitted to back plate inside out

So basically the part appears to fit and has got to be better than a knackered original, still searching a few places with regards to the original part.

                                cheers, Paul
