Well said Dave. I remember when I joined there were extremely few non RS owners on the site, but thanks to the nice people already here and the positive attitude I didn't feel like an 'unclean'. Now thankfully there are escort owners of all ethos.
From those who cover them up in bubble wrap and check wind direction and the five day forecast before opening the garage door and taking them off life support, to daily drivers, to the madmen that aren't happy unless they're full of the clock, covered in mud and steering out the side window.
It's a great place to come for advice on anything Escort, and some of the restos really show how it should be, and can be done.
Good job, well done. We're not Brazil, we're Northern Ireland

5 years time flys
remember custom on the RS board I think he had a username of a motorbike and into skaters lucky for us he got the custom
The first time I met the custom he rang me out of a classic ford ad for some custy parts, we arranged for him to come up to the Works,
It got me thinking I have a guy coming with a brummie slanted tongue coming to THE WORKS TEAM holy grail
I got the betsy project full on so it was a early start for me to clear the motor and the all the bits into the rear workshop 6 o clock start
All I left was a door out which of cause had the blue stripe on hit.
So he landed in a dodgy looking sherpa hire van
took him into the shed and all was there was a front end of a mk2 which he was coming to view and a bluey door
should have seen his face his mind must have been working 10 to the dozen
Guest what he did not buy it so off he went back to brum land.
not sure how long ago it was must be 8 years or so
funny how thing change I could have gave him the works team stripe
big one for the custom for setting the board up
regards
