I`ll be bringing the MK1 Mexico and the MK2 RS2000 (have a mate who will drive one!) But could do with knowing sooner rather than later if we can get on.

errrm I er, [cough] did yeah - my Mk1 wasn't ready and the additional weight of me on top of Big Dave and Rick had the RS1600 grounding out (which didn't sound good). Then tried the back of Rob's Turbo Pinto'd Mk2 but his arches started catching (really badly as they were already) so had to revert to the Focus as everyone had left by then - need to cut down on the pies

Mk1 is all sorted for this year though

Totally agree with Marky4 Why wait until March / April if all last years entrents forms have been sent out how long will it take to fill it in and return the form ??????

im the same really want to go this year if the extra places are filled this year then that could be the end of the lakes tour for everybody else forever because the same people will go year after year if its as good as people say

last year how many 2 people cars was there who this year are now going in there own cars due to restoration new ownership etc etc now does the passenger from last year whos car wasnt there year get automatic entry this year or does the entrant have to apply in april like everyone else

It's only fair that the people who have supported the Lakes Tour previously get first option, but there's already a few who are not going this year and I think there are going to be some extra places so make sure you are online on the 1st February to get your application in and returned to Steve.

P.S. I didn't go last year so I am going to be doing exactly the same as you. I want to be on this Tour and will apply as soon as Steve tells us how many places there are.
