Buy now hopefully everybody that did the Lakes tour last year will have received there entry form for 2008 please can you let me have them back buy the end of march. If you aren’t doing the tour this year and have received an entry can you please let me know ASAP then we can see how many more entries we can take hopefully more than last year. I have received twenty or so back all ready bit quick off the mark but most appreciated.After march or as soon as i have the entrys back that have been sent out. I will then take more entrys we can only have up to 150 that is 40 more than last year so hopefully no one will be disapointed come April.
RETROFORD are the main sponsor’s of the event this year and they will be doing the tour this year in hopefully a old skool ford we not sure what yet
The format of the tour in 2008 will be much the same but not so much of the Lakes this year more of well good driving roads which your old skool ford will sing! to. On return to the hotel a buffet meal will be served in the bar along with the raffle and the prize giving. Many thanks to grum for donating one of his works of art for the winner of the picture competition on the RSE bb.
Camping will be at the Heaves hotel for Lakes tour entrants only Friday and Saturday night only and please can you keep the camp site tidy sorry but we cannot accommodate caravans had a word with the owners of the hotel and he said no.

Any traders that wish to attend the show on Sunday please contact me we don’t rip you off but you may asked to sponsor something? Or donate a raffle prize.
We are holding a MK2 escort X pack display this year looking to get hopefully 8 /10 of these rare cars.
We could also make room for a RS 1800 display? Q Mr Robinson?
I would also like to see a display on Sunday of all marks of old skool RS’s from MK1 RS 3.1 Capri, MK1 RS1600, MK1Mexico, MK1RS 2000, MK2 RS1800, MK2 Mexico, MK2 RS2000.and A BASE MODEL RS2000 Paul This can be your job Paul as our new registrar no buts get on with it, should be easy as most of them will be there anyway.
I will also make room on the main lawn for all MK1 and MK2 escort rally cars or rep rally cars please let me or bob know if you are interested in displaying your cars in any of these displays.
